Our inaugural edition of the festival saw an incredible turnout, with over 180 artists from 36 countries contributing their artworks. We were blown away by the overwhelming support of the street art community and their enthusiasm in sending their creations.

We are thrilled by the success of our first festival and are committed to continuing our efforts to connect the international street art community. Our goal is to make Zagreb a more colorful and internationally recognized space that opens its doors to the world.

The Zagreb Street Art Festival is organized by “Grupa Zid,” an artist collective comprising international and Croatian Street Art artists alongside diverse other creatives, including architects, calligraphers, photographers, and more. We share a common vision: to transform public spaces through art and through critical questioning of society and socially relevant issues.

By engaging citizens and their surroundings in dialogue, we aim to make street art more visible and recognized in Croatia. Additionally, we are committed to educating the younger generation about the value of artistic interventions as opposed to vandalism, fostering a culture of creativity and respect.
